Job Description

Works closely with Product Owner and Engineering Managers to understand priorities, working to understand Team's capacity and constraints. Facilitate and organize daily stand-up meetings, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other activities as needed Prevent or remove impediments and distractions that interfere with the ability of the development team to deliver on their goals Work with Business Analyst/Technical Lead/Architect to groom and prioritize backlog for upcoming releases and iterations. Aid delivery engineering team by determining suitable commitments for user stories, defects, and tasking Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution Coordinate and manage releases across organizational teams. Maintain process documentation Ensures the tracking and reporting of daily activities

Job Skill

  • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games. Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team. Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills. Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences Experience with JIRA and other Atlassian products.

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable about various Agile methodologies and experienced in coaching Scrum and Kanban teams Experience configuring and optimizing usage of agile backlog management Experience working in a Scaled Agile framework(SAFe) or product organization with Scrum of Scrums ceremony or equivalent, is strongly preferred. Knowledge and experience of working with team following the Lean Product development methodologies like Program Increment (PI) planning process, would be highly preferred. Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (eg: numerous Burn down techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.) Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
